Designed for Dry Food Storage

The bags have a layered PET, aluminum foil, and PE construction, with a stand-up design and resealable zipper. The foil layer helps limit exposure to light, while the packaging provides a barrier against moisture and oxygen when intact and properly sealed.

Use suitable bags for low-moisture pantry staples such as dry rice, beans, grains, and pasta. Follow food-specific storage recommendations rather than assuming every dried food has the same storage needs or shelf life.

Sealing and Oxygen Absorbers

The zipper provides convenient access. For longer-term storage, heat seal according to the bag manufacturer's instructions using suitable equipment. Keep the sealing area clean and inspect the finished seal for gaps or damage.

Open absorber packs only when ready to use and promptly protect unused absorbers from air according to their instructions. The required absorber capacity depends on bag size, food, and remaining air; one 300cc packet is not automatically sufficient for every bag. Oxygen absorbers are not desiccants and do not remove moisture.

Important Storage Precautions

Do not use oxygen absorbers with moist or perishable foods for room-temperature storage. Oxygen-free conditions can create serious food-safety risks when the food is unsuitable. These bags do not sterilize food, replace refrigeration, or guarantee a specific shelf life.

Store filled bags in a cool, dry location protected from punctures and pests. Do not use bags with holes, damaged seams, or compromised barrier layers. Keep absorber packets away from children and pets; do not open or eat them.
